Aarohi Schools: Librarian/PGT written Test

It is for information to all the candidates who have applied for various of contractual post of PGTs and Librarian in response to advertisement No. 19/78-2008 SE(4) dated 02 February, 2013 that writing skill and other skill test for the post of Librarian and PGTs in various subjects is scheduled to be held on 01-6-2013 (Saturday) at 11:00 AM.

The admit cards can be downloaded from website www.recruitment.cdacmohali.in. of C-DAC Mohali.
In case of any guidance/information/clarification regarding downloading of Roll No. etc. the candidate can call at C-DAC Mohali helpline Nos. 0172-6619054 and 0172-6619055 on all working days from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All the candidates are directed to bring with them the Admit Card, copy of receipt of fee deposited in the bank and any other document in support of their identification. The candidates should reach the venue of examination on 01-6-2013 at 10:00 AM sharp for verification of identity.
The question paper will have 25 MCQs and remaining 5 questions will be subjective type. The space for answering these questions is provided in the Question-Answer Booklet. Each subjective type question will carry 5 marks. There will be no negative marking . The duration of exam will be of two hours.

Consequent upon a decision taken by the State Election Commission, Haryana to hold the elections of Municipal Council on 02.06.2013, it has been decided to postpone the dates of examination of “Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test(2012-13)”.
It is also notified for the information of all concerned that in accordance with the interim decision taken by the National Council for Teacher Education, the Department of Secondary Education, Haryana has also approved the proposal to revise the duration of examination of HTET from 1 hr. 30 minutes to 2hrs. 30 minutes.
Accordingly, the new schedule for the conduct of “HTET” is notified as under :

Level-1 (Primary Teacher) 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM 26.06.2013 (Wednesday)

Postponement of CGL-2013

The Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2013 is scheduled to be held on 14th April, 2013 and 21st April, 2013. 
As 14th April, 2013 has been declared as closed holiday on account of the Birthday of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the examination scheduled on 14.04.2013 has been postponed and will now be held on 28.04.2013. 
Revised Admission Certificates may be downloaded from the website of the concerned Regional Offices of Staff Selection Commission on or after  21st  April,2013.

CTET Time duration increased

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), has issued Press Notice for seeking On-line submission of application by the candidates for CTET-JULY 2013 Examination. In accordance with NCTE Circular No.76-4/2010/NCTE/Acad dated 11.02.2011 regarding Guidelines for conduct of Teacher Eligibility Test, the time duration for Paper-I & Paper-II, has been mentioned as 1.30 hours in CTET-JULY 2013 Information Bulletin and Press Notice available on CTET website.    The NCTE vide letter No.F.76-1/2011/NCTE/Acad, dated 9th April, 2013, has increased the time duration for TET Examination from 1.30 hours to 2.30 hours for a period of six months or till the report of the committee for this purpose, is submitted and a decision is taken thereon, whichever is earlier. Accordingly, as per the aforesaid NCTE Notification  regarding extension of time duration to complete TET, the schedule for CTET-JULY 2013 Examination stands revised as follows :-
